The Manager, Sales Process is responsible for driving operational excellence within the commercial organization by designing, optimizing, and maintaining efficient sales processes and workflows. This role focuses on clarifying roles and responsibilities, creating structured handovers, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. By implementing clear frameworks such as swimlanes and RACI matrices, the Manager enables scalability, accountability, and high performance, allowing the Sales team to focus on sales-generating activities.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Process Design & Optimization

  • Map, document, and continuously improve sales processes to ensure clarity and efficiency.

  • Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and redundancies; recommend and implement approved improvements.

  • Develop and maintain swimlane diagrams to define responsibilities and handovers across functions.

  • Create and manage RACI matrices to establish accountability and ownership for key activities.

  • Ensure processes are scalable and aligned with organizational goals.

Workflow Management

  • Standardize workflows and handover points between Sales and supporting teams.

  • Maintain a centralized repository of process documentation for easy access and adoption.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of processes.

  • Recommend removal of non-sales administrative tasks from Sales teams and assigning them to appropriate support functions.

  • Monitor and refine operational activities that enhance Sales effectiveness.

Continuous Improvement

  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and maintain improvement logs.

  • Track process performance metrics and escalate issues as needed.

  • Research and recommend emerging tools or practices to enhance efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of sales processes, workflow design, and operational optimization.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales enablement tools.

  • Expertise in process mapping, swim lane creation, and RACI frameworks.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to lead process adoption across diverse teams and foster collaboration

Other Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales process management, commercial operations, or process improvement.

  • Fluent in English.
