EVP, Head of Global Quality

We are seeking an exceptional executive leader to join our Global Operations Leadership Team as EVP, Global Head of Quality. This is a highly strategic enterprise role with responsibility across our global Drug Discovery and Drug Development network spanning Europe and the USA.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, you will lead the transformation of Quality into a modern, commercially impactful, globally harmonized function that supports Evotec’s next phase of growth under Project Horizon.
This role is designed for a leader who understands the realities of complex life science environments, can navigate global matrix organisations, and knows how to turn quality excellence into a competitive advantage.
As Global Head of Quality, you will:
Define and drive Evotec’s global Quality strategy across Drug Discovery and Drug Development
Lead large-scale transformation initiatives across systems, structures, processes, and capabilities
Position Quality as a visible differentiator in client partnerships, business development, and strategic growth
Build strong executive relationships internally and externally across pharma, biotech, and regulatory bodies
Ensure world-class GXP compliance while enabling agility, scalability, and operational performance
Lead and inspire an international Quality organisation across the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and the USA

We are looking for an executive leader with:
Significant senior leadership experience within a CRO, biotech, or pharma.
Strong understanding of partner expectations and unmet needs in complex CRO settings
Proven track record leading transformation in global, matrixed, multi-site organisations
Deep expertise across GXP environments including GLP, GCP, and GMP
Strong commercial acumen and experience positioning Quality as a business enabler and strategic differentiator
Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing capability at executive level
Experience leading large international teams through change, complexity, and growth
The ability to combine scientific credibility, operational rigor, and business pragmatism
