Treasury Manager (all genders)

Focus: Capital, Debt & Insurance Management

Full-time and permanent

to support Evotec’s evolving capital structure, financing strategy, and insurance portfolio. While this role focuses primarily on Capital Structure Optimization, Debt Management & Compliance, and Insurance Management, the Treasury Manager will collaborate closely with other Treasury Managers across Cash Management, Liquidity Forecasting, Treasury Operations, and Financial Risk Management to ensure a fully integrated Treasury organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and coordinate funding projects including loans, hybrid instruments, revolving credit facilities (RCF), letters of credit, factoring programs, and guarantees
  • Assist in preparing analytical materials for management board decision-making and support negotiations of financing agreements and insurance contracts
  • Contribute to the development of funding strategies aligned with liquidity planning and Evotec’s corporate growth objectives
  • Manage the Group’s intercompany (IC) funding program
  • Build and maintain financial models for capital structure scenarios, cost of capital analysis, funding evaluations, and Treasury KPIs
  • Conduct financing- and insurance-related risk assessments, including stress tests and adequacy evaluations
  • Support the business with questions relating to the Group’s capital structure, loan documentation, insurance frameworks, and guarantee programs
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with loan covenants, rating agency criteria, and insurance standards across all relevant jurisdictions
  • Manage corporate insurance programs (e.g., property, liability, D&O) and coordinate renewals, claims, and interactions with brokers
  • Support customer and vendor credit risk assessments and decision processes
  • Contribute to cash flow forecasting, ensuring accurate short-, mid-, and long-term liquidity projections in coordination with Finance, FP&A, and operational teams
  • Assist in executing treasury-related transactions including intercompany funding, FX settlements, interest payments, and associated documentation workflows​

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA would be ideal and preferred
  • Additional qualification is a plus (e.g., bank trainee, CFA, or similar certification)
  • 4+ years of experience in corporate treasury, capital markets, structured finance, corporate banking, or insurance & risk management
  • Experience with complex financing instruments and insurances
  • Strong financial modeling capabilities (advanced Excel)
  • Deep understanding of capital markets, funding structures, and cost-of-capital methodologies
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks including loan covenants, rating agency criteria, and insurance compliance ​

Further ideal qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and risk assessment abilities
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to link capital structure decisions to long‑term corporate goals
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to work effectively across functions and with external stakeholders (banks, investment firms, insurance partners)
  • Clear communicator capable of conveying complex financial and technical topics to senior stakeholders
  • German language skills are a plus ​
