Country Controller (all genders)
We are currently seeking to hire a highly motivated and dedicated
Country Controller (all genders)
to join our team based at our Headquarters in Hamburg, Germany or Abingdon, UK. This is a key position in our Business Controlling organization, reporting to the VP Business Controlling.
Key responsibilities:
- Finance Business Partner for enabling functions within Germany, including our Headquarters
- Provide meaningful monthly analyses and reports, with a focus on P&L and Cost Center Controlling and entity Cash Flow forecasting
- Drive and support the Forecast and Budget processes
- Answer ad hoc requests and provide analyses
- Provide support to our Funding department
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors for SOX and statutory audit purposes
- Structure, implement, and optimize Controlling processes
- Initiate, support and execute specific finance, controlling and cross-functional change projects
- Responsible for creating, documenting, and monitoring guidelines for all relevant Controlling processes
Qualifications:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- Proactive, hands-on, self-starter mentality
- Proven track record of experiences in Controlling process implementation / optimization / documentation
- Good understanding of business processes and change management. Ability to apply this experience in problem-solving and process improvements
- Experience in Internal control systems, SOX and compliance is an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of finance, budgeting, controlling and (cost) accounting principles under IFRS
- Strong analytical, organizational and coordination skills
- Very good communication and presentation skills
- Business fluent in English, German a plus, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
