Potential Responsibilities (depending on role and experience):

• Design, execute, and evaluate experimental research protocols to support innovative scientific projects
• Identify, develop, and validate new approaches for advancing research and therapeutic development
• Lead scientific projects, ensuring high-quality results and effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of platforms, processes, and technologies through creative problem-solving and innovation
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in technology and scientific knowledge, applying them to improve project outcomes
• Manage and coordinate project teams, setting priorities and ensuring timelines and objectives are met
• Deliver clear and accurate reports, technical documents, and presentations to both internal teams and external stakeholders
• Act as a representative of Evotec’s capabilities in scientific forums, collaborations, and presentations
• Support daily lab operations and other general tasks depending on the role level and team needs

Qualifications:

• Apprenticeship (e.g., BTA, CTA, MTA) or degree (PhD, MSc, BSc) in Biology or another life science discipline, with research experience in an academic, pharmaceutical, or biotech setting
• A strong understanding of disease biology, therapeutic research, or other relevant scientific areas, depending on the focus of the role
• Proficiency in developing, optimizing, and conducting experiments, with hands-on experience in assay development
• Proven ability to lead scientific projects and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing or guiding junior scientists or technical staff
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex scientific data clearly to diverse audiences
• Strong problem-solving abilities, creativity, and a proactive approach to advancing research initiatives
• Full proficiency in English, both verbal and written; German is a plus
