We are currently seeking to hire a highly motivated and dedicated SeniorVice President of Global Accounting (all genders) into our Global Accounting team.  This position will oversee subsidiary accounting, group consolidation, and external financial reporting. This executive leader will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, be the primary contact point for external auditors, enhance financial processes, and provide strategic direction to the accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subsidiary Accounting: Oversee the accounting operations of all subsidiaries, ensuring financial integrity and alignment with corporate policies.

  • Group Consolidation: Manage the consolidation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and consistency across global entities.

  • External Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and submission of financial reports in compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, SEC regulations, and other relevant standards.

  • Financial Strategy & Compliance: Ensure effectiveness of internal controls, financial policies, and reporting frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

  • Leadership & Development: Mentor and develop accounting teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

  • Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership, auditors, and key stakeholders to drive financial strategy and enhance decision-making.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or CPA, or equivalent, preferred).
  • 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Expertise in IFRS, External Financial Reporting, SEC reporting, and corporate consolidations, HGB a plus.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience in a multinational corporation is highly preferred.
  • Proven finance transformation and business process optimization experience
  • Experience with PCAOB Audits and Sarbanes Oxley a plus
  • Business fluent in English – Italian, German, or French a plus, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
