We’re looking for a passionate and curious Materials Specialist to join our team. As a Materials Specialist at Just Evotec Biologics, you'll have the freedom to ask the hard questions, think outside the box, and find creative solutions that push us forward. Materials Specialists are responsible for the execution of product handling/logistics in a cGMP environment. This includes the receipt and inspection, storage, wipe down and issuance of kitted and non-kitted GMP materials used in production and final product shipping/distribution to our customers. Other responsibilities include performing data entry into various business systems and databases ensuring department compliance with policies and procedures for Just-Evotec Biologics state of the art J.POD™ Facility, located in Redmond WA.
Shift 1 - Sat to Wed - 10 hour shifts, 7:00am - 6:00pm
Shift 2 - Wed to Sun - 10 hours shifts, 7:00am - 6:00pm

What You’ll Do:
Perform all work activities in a safe and compliant manner according to all Just-Evotec Biologics policies, procedures, and trainings.
Dive deep into using manual labor, pallet jacks, and forklifts, receive, identify, quarantine, store, handle, dispense, release, and issue raw materials, starting materials, intermediates, reagents, labels, GMP supplies and packaging materials to and from storage locations always looking for ways to improve and innovate.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore new possibilities and solutions.
Bring fresh perspectives to assist with deviations, change control, and corrective / preventive actions within the established Quality management system that challenge the status quo.
Regularly share your findings, ideas, and solutions in both team settings and presentations.
Keep up with the latest trends and developments in Supply Chain and Logistics / Materials Management and use your knowledge to inspire and lead.
Ensure that curiosity-driven questions and exploration lead to measurable, impactful results.
Maintain general supplies, orders, and re-stock GMP areas as required.
Assist with maintaining an accurate inventory (paper and electronic), expiration, and retest records for all GMP materials.
Access various business systems and input data with a high level of accuracy (i.e. decommissioning of materials, material destruction, plant to plant movements, and other non-routine SAP transactions).
Coordinate disposition of all expired materials and maintain applicable documentation.
Participate in internal GMP inspections when needed.
Interface with a variety of departments when coordinating shipping and receiving.
Record creation, collection, and storage per corporate retention schedules
Perform department related project activity that may include investigating, analyzing, formulating possible solutions, documenting processes, and communicating results.
Assorted additional duties as assigned.

Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (if applicable).
Experience and proven abilities to analytically investigate and troubleshoot system issues and drive the implementation of solutions.
Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and execute work appropriately with minimal supervision.
Experience with cell therapy manufacturing is preferred.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $25.00 to $30.40; Base salary offered may vary depending on the individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value. Additional total rewards include discretionary annual bonus, comprehensive benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, short-term and long-term disability, company paid basic life insurance, 401k company match, flexible work, generous paid time off and paid holiday, wellness and transportation benefits.
