The Role:

We’re looking for a passionate and curious Senior Associate Scientist to join our team. What You’ll Do:

• Execute stability studies for drug products and drug substances under development at Just-Evotec Biologics.
• Proficiently use equipment, analysis tools/software, documentation and other requirements of functional area. Document lab activities in electronic lab notebooks. Work with an attention to detail and be quality-minded. Organize data and outputs, and interpret results with some supervision.
• Serve as team member or functional lead for platform client FIH or project, or team member for CPD project.
• Be a technical resource for functional team and project teams.
• Assist with reviewing reports, methods and other technical documents.
• Help train new staff
• With some supervision, prepare reports and slides for process and technology teams

Who You Are:

• BS in engineering, biochemistry, biology, chemistry or related field with 2+ years experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience with protein analytical techniques such as, HPLC/UPLC, capillary electrophoresis systems, spectroscopy, and rheology
• Experience handling and analysing protein samples in a laboratory setting

• Experience with aseptic technique
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), LIMS systems and chromatography/electrophoresis application software.
• Experience in training team members as well as being part of a process team for external client projects and collaborations and internal technology development initiatives.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $83,000 to $87,000; Base salary offered may vary depending on individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value.

Additional total rewards include discretionary annual bonus, comprehensive benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, short-term and long-term disability, company paid basic life insurance, 401k company match, flexible work, generous paid time off and paid holiday, wellness and transportation benefits.
