The Role:

We’re looking for a passionate and curious, Senior Lab Associate to join our team. If you’re excited by new challenges, solving complex problems, and learning every step of the way, you might just be the perfect fit. What You’ll Do:

• Coordinate support function logistics while contributing to scientific functional area project work. 
• Regularly inventory lab supplies and place orders.
• Collaborate across teams to develop systems for inventory and equipment tracking.
• Work with vendors and manufacturers on ordering and troubleshooting supplies.
• Support other groups with liquid handling and lab maintenance activities.
• Organize and manage cold room and freezer storage areas.
• Ensure adherence to equipment compliance for regulatory and internal standards.
• Support Pilot scale assembly building operations and coordinate buffer ordering.
• Serve as the primary contact for facility and equipment notifications.
• Assist with future pilot and additional space buildouts.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Who You Are:

• Associate degree in a science related field with 2+ years working in a life science laboratory setting, Bachelor's degree in a science related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience scheduling and completing lab support activities.
• Experience cleaning and maintaining scientific laboratory equipment.
• Experience training others and leading teams
• Organizational skills including attention to detail.
• Motivated – both individually and as a team member.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Drive Suite applications.

• Experience developing systems for management of lab inventory or handling user requests.
• Experience with 6S/Lean or other methodology for efficiency.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds with assistance.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $30.00 to $35.00 per hour; Base salary offered may vary depending on individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value.
