Director Operational Excellence

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Vice President of Program and Portfolio Management, the Director of Operational Excellence will be responsible for spearheading continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall operational performance of the organization
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams across the business to identify business process improvement opportunities, implement lean methodologies, and foster a culture of innovation that aligns with the Just – Evotec mission.
  • Use operational excellence tools to provide data-driven recommendations that enable the organization to create efficiency, eliminate waste, and achieve measurable results
  • Manage portfolio of business process improvement initiatives, including establishing prioritization, creation of status tools for reporting to leadership, and establishing governance processes

Note: This role has some flexibility, site based Seattle, WA, with 2/3 times per month travelling to Redmond. Dependant on the business needs.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, biochemistry, chemical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of previous experience in project and program management and/or operational excellence roles
  • Experience working with teams in GMP manufacturing and process development environments.
  • Expertise with MS Office tools, MS Project, OnePager, Smartsheet
  • Excellent organizational, relationship and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), MBA or equivalent certification
  • Operational Excellence role in biotechnology, GMP manufacturing or healthcare.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $180,000 to $205,000;  Base salary offered may vary depending on individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value.
