The Role:

We’re looking for a passionate and curious Senior Scientist to join our team. What You’ll Do:

• Drive scientific innovation and execute CLD strategies for client and partner programs.
• Design and execute cell line development workflows, including stable cell line generation, single-cell cloning, and IND-supporting documentation.
• Support MCB/WCB manufacturing and ensure alignment with CMC requirements.
• Lead technology development initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce cost of goods.
• Mentor junior scientists, fostering a culture of collaboration and creativity.
• Serve as a functional lead on complex client of technology projects
• Identify, develop, and implement next-generation CLD technologies (e.g., genome editing, automation, high-throughput systems).
• Author and contribute to regulatory submissions, patents, publications, and represent Just at external conferences.

Who You Are:

• PhD in a relevant scientific discipline with 3+ years of experience, BS with 10+ years of experience, or Scientist II or equivalent with 3+ years of experience.
• Demonstrate proven expertise in mammalian cell culture (CHO preferred), molecular biology, and stable transgene expression.
• Experienced with expression construct design for complex biologics (mAbs, bispecifics, fusion proteins).
• Familiar with late-stage cell line development activities, including strategies to match innovator PQA/CQA.
• Have hands-on experience with automation, data systems, and high-throughput workflows.
• Have a strong track record in technology development, genome engineering (CRISPR), and next-gen sequencing.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently in a higher-risk technology development environment and to usher high level abstract scientific goals from concept to project completion.
• Have exceptional communication and leadership skills, with ability to present to diverse audiences including senior leadership.
• Have passion for innovation and commitment to improving global access to biotherapeutics.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $126,000 to $140,000; Base salary offered may vary depending on individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value.

Additional total rewards include discretionary annual bonus, comprehensive benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, short-term and long-term disability, company paid basic life insurance, 401k company match, flexible work, generous paid time off and paid holiday, wellness and transportation benefits.
