Strategic Buyer (F/M/D)

Based in Toulouse this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hands-on buyer to take a challenging role at Evotec. You will help align vendors and contractors in a strategic manner to gain the best possible value structure for delivery of supplies, capital goods and services, in accordance with the global company strategy. Reporting to the Procurement & Logistics Manager in Toulouse, your responsibilities will include:

Strategic Buyer (f/m) _ Permanent

• Portfolio _ procurement activities in keeping with the portfolio of spend for the site and in support of global category strategy and initiatives.  

• Ensure alignment with the needs of the end user/stakeholders.
• Contact with the supplier base for the purpose of quotation and or contract request, and negotiation, and in keeping with departmental budgets.
• Collaborate with your internal clients to understand their needs and ensure timely procurement and delivery.    
• Provide support to other departments/cost centres where detail on budget is needed. 
• Management of supplier specifcially to monitor supplier’s risk, invoice disputes any other issues with suppliers
• Support project management on lean projects
• Stay informed about market trends and product offerings within the pharma/biotechnological sector.

Your ideal qualification:

• At least 3 years of experience in a purchasing department in an industrial or pharmaceutical company,
• Ability to work autonomously, but also as an active team member. 
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.   A technical mindset. 
• Ability to establish good relationships and work effectively with internal users and suppliers.
• Fluent in French and English
• Proficiency in common office software as Microsoft Word, Excel, experience using ERP systems.

Responsabilités :

• Portefeuille _ activités d'approvisionnement en accord avec le portefeuille de dépenses du site et en soutien de la stratégie et des initiatives globale / catégorie.
• Assurer l'alignement avec les besoins de l'utilisateur final/des parties prenantes.
• Contact avec la base de fournisseurs à des fins de devis et/ou de demande de contrat, et de négociation, et dans le respect des budgets départementaux.
• Collaborer avec vos clients internes pour comprendre leurs besoins et assurer un approvisionnement et une livraison en temps opportun.
• Fournir un soutien aux autres départements/centres de coûts lorsque des détails sur le budget sont nécessaires
• Gestion des fournisseurs, en particulier pour surveiller les risques du fournisseur, les litiges relatifs aux factures et tout autre problème avec le fournisseur
• Soutenir la gestion de projet sur les projets Lean. 
• Rester informé des tendances du marché et des offres de produits dans le secteur pharmaceutique/biotechnologique.

Vos qualifications idéals :

• Au moins 3 ans d'expérience dans un service achats d'une entreprise industrielle ou pharmaceutique,
• Capacité à travailler de manière autonome, mais aussi en tant que membre actif d'une équipe.
• Fortes compétences en négociation et en résolution de problèmes.  Un état d'esprit technique.
• Capacité à établir de bonnes relations et à travailler efficacement avec les utilisateurs internes et les fournisseurs.
• Parle couramment le français et l'anglais
• Maîtrise des logiciels courants tels que Microsoft Word, Excel, expérience de l'utilisation des systèmes ERP/MRP/MRPII
