Evotec is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources professional to join our team in Göttingen, Germany as Senior HRBP. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Agile HR practices.

Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) (all genders)

Full-time and permanent

Your key responsibilities:

  • Be part of the local HR Business Partner Team in Germany
  • Act as a strategic partner to leaders and managers to understand their business objectives and develop HR strategies to support the business units
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to employee relations and facilitate negotiations with workers council for the Göttingen site 
  • Contribute to setting the global  employment relations strategy and its implementation in Germany
  • Provide guidance and advice to managers on HR policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with HR processes, local laws and regulations 
  • In coordination with leaders, support organizational changes and all associated changes, from reflection to implementation
  • Part of the Site Leadership Teams Göttingen
  • Deploy the different annual HR cycles : performance review, promotions cycles, salary review, goal setting, within your scope 
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address them within your area of responsibility  
  • Facilitate the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans
  • Coach managers on effective leadership and management practices
  • Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance and advice on conflict resolution and employee discipline

Your ideal qualifications:

  • Master degree in Human Resources, Employment Law or equivalent
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Profound work experience in a similar position as an HR Business Partner in a large organization
  • Sound knowledge of German employment law, work constitution act and general HR regulations 
  • Excellent communication skills, including proven negotiation skills  
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, and ability to use HR metrics and data to drive decision-making
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Professional English and German language skills are essential
  • Knowledge of the professions in Evotec's sector of activity (pharmaceutical industry, Biopharma, biotech, CRO, or the like), is a plus
