As Lead Engineer Global Workplace and Azure Cloud Platform, you will be responsible for designing and building core platform services to operate Global Workplace and other cloud workloads in Azure as part of your team.

Responsibilities

  • You design and implement concepts for secure and automated cloud operations. Your main focus is on architectural work, coordination with business partners and committees.
  • You create and implement automated processes such as provision of cloud workloads for various business partners inside and outside the organization.
  • You evaluate and explain concepts with business partners and colleagues. You understand business requirements and translate these into technical solutions.
  • You follow proven development methods such as "everything is code", "automation first", "security-driven development" and others.
  • You are happy to share your knowledge in formats like brown bag sessions and act as technical evangelist within the company.
  • You are familiar with standards, procedures and frameworks such as AMCs, ADRs, Arc42 or WAF.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of the Azure cloud platform and its services.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of modern development methods and frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of international data security and information security, with focus on the M365 and Azure platform.
  • Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF or others may be preferred.
