We’re looking for a passionate and curious Methods and Engineering Managerto join our team. What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Facilities & Engineering, Manufacturing, MSAT, CQV, Quality) to identify, analyze and resolve complex operational issues
  • Propose and implement effective, data-driven improvement strategies; monitor results and adjust KPIs/tools as needed
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and resource optimization
  • Supervise a cross-functional team (engineers, planners, technicians); develop skills matrices and succession plans
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the annual technical shutdown, including planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and system tracking in collaboration with the CMMS planner
  • Facilitate internal and cross-functional meetings; analyze progress and prepare dashboards for informed decision-making
  • Lead F&E involvement in Capital Projects: define requirements, participate in design and FAT/SAT reviews, coordinate handover activities, and ensure system integration into CMMS and KPI monitoring
  • Conduct risk assessments and investigations using Lean methodology; define and follow through on corrective action plans and change controls
  • Continuously optimize maintenance tasks, timelines, and costs in collaboration with F&E team managers

Who You Are:

  • You hold a Master’s or Engineering degree and bring 10+ years of experience in GMP-regulated biopharma or a similar industry, including 5+ years in project or team leadership
  • You have strong expertise in GMP utility systems (HVAC, WFI, clean steam, compressed air, process gases, boilers, etc.) and in managing electronic systems such as CMMS and QMS
  • You are confident representing GMP systems in audits and regulatory inspections
  • You’re skilled in project and team management, cross-functional collaboration, and performance monitoring through KPIs (e.g., MTBF, OEE, energy/water usage)
  • You apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (Ishikawa, 5W2H, etc.) to investigations and continuous improvement
  • You have a strong mechanical aptitude, are self-motivated, and bring a sharp focus on quality and detail
  • You’re fluent in English and French, with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across Operations, Capital Projects, MSAT, CQV, and Quality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project), Smartsheet, and other project management tools is essential
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) is a plus
