Director, Head of Commercial Efficiency
The Director, Head of Commercial Efficiency is responsible for driving operational excellence across the commercial organization by optimizing workflows, embedding continuous improvement practices, and accelerating team readiness through effective onboarding and training. This role ensures scalability, innovation, and high performance to enable the Sales organization to deliver maximum impact. Additionally, this leader will oversee sales support, ensuring that non-sales administrative and operational tasks are removed from the Sales team, allowing them to focus on sales-generating activities.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow Optimization
Streamline processes, tools, and systems to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve speed, accuracy, and productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of workflows.
Build and maintain a centralized repository of documents for use by the Commercial organization and other stakeholders.
Sales Support Enablement
Lead a team that provides proactive support to Sales, taking ownership of non-sales-related tasks (e.g., administrative, reporting, coordination) to free up Sales capacity.
Develop and implement standardized processes for handling operational tasks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Monitor and continuously improve the effectiveness of sales support activities to maximize impact.
Continuous Improvement
Embed best practices and foster a culture of innovation and ongoing improvement.
Monitor performance metrics and implement process enhancements based on data-driven insights.
Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce cutting-edge methodologies to maintain competitive advantage.
Training and Onboarding
Design and deliver onboarding programs for new hires to accelerate readiness.
Develop and implement training on platforms, value propositions, and commercial processes.
Partner with Sales leadership to ensure teams are equipped with the tools and knowledge to perform at their best.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of commercial operations, workflow design, and process optimization.
Familiarity with CRM systems, sales enablement platforms, and automation tools.
Experience in developing training programs and onboarding frameworks.
Ability to analyze complex processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Skilled in leveraging data to drive decisions and measure impact.
Proven ability to manage team members and lead global initiatives.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Ability to implement scalable systems and drive adoption across diverse regions/areas.
Experience in managing people and building high-performing teams.
Other Requirements
3+ years of experience in commercial operations, process improvement, or sales enablement.
Fluent in English.
